Hi, I recently installed Windows XP Pro SP2 on another drive and when I use it, the sound does not work at all but it still does when I use Windows ME. I've been told to reinstall my drivers but I have no idea how to do this. Can anyone help me?

Is this a board you put in yourself or is this an OEM board or chip, meaning "Original Equipment Manufaturer" or the brand of your computer such as HP, Dell, emachine etc. If OEM what brand?

This may help you or confuse you:
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;316389#appliesto

To sum up, you need xp updated drivers. To do this, it has to be determined if you get the drivers from "Turtle Beach" or from your "computer support site ".

Since microsoft link supplies information for Turle Beach drivers, they are here:
    http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/kb_ftp/585ftp.asp?wb=1

and if your computer is a dell, they are here:
    http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/format.aspx?releaseid=r37728&c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19

I'm not throwing you to the wolves and expecting you to fend for yourself. I thought you might want to have a look see. Once SoundBoard maker is determined further information will be given. Shoot... it may not even be a Dell, surely Dell isn't the only manufaturer who may use this board or chip.

This is kind of anti climatic! :) I was expecting to have to type a "step by step ". Was this "Turtle Beach stand alone" or "Dell" or "other OEM "? Did you use an entirely different method to install or fix your SoundBoard? What did you do to make it work? Spill the beans and share the experience (please).. :D

Also, you are most certainly welcome and thank you for updating your post. A short update is better than no update, any day.
