no sound on my media player

    can anyone help me please i get no sound from my my windows
    media player i got no sound from the old version downloaded the
    the latest 9 still get no sound when i try to use internet radio
    the launch radio to listen to videos etc my volume is all the way up
    the icom on my computer is all the way up and not muted
    nor is my media player and still no sound please tell me what to do

    Have you gone into the control panel, sounds, select one of the events with a speaker icon in front and click preview? Does that work? If it didnt work with the earlier version of media player, then I would guess it has nothing to do with media player. Have you gone to start, help, troubleshooters, and select sound? Post back good or bad.

    I would also check that all the cables connecting the sound card and the speakers are firmly engaged.
