In the past I accumulated entries in the "RUN" drop down list that made it easy to just click on one instead of typing it in. Now it does not list any. What did I do

You most likely cleared the "History" in the IE Browser. It takes the "Run History" out along with several other History lists on your computer.

Incidentally, if you ever want to clear the "Run" list individually there is a way to do so.

    TO CLEAN "RUN" HISTORY MENU
Go to Run and type Regedit
    Navigate to the following key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU
In the right pane you will see all the items that are listed in your Run menu. Simply delete
    them and reboot. (Leave default)

You can even trim individual ones by using care to edit properly. If you need that option, post back and I'll expand more (or is that expound). :)

Or vis-versa...before clearing history you can export this particular registry Hkey, saving it where it will be handy for reg import. Give it a name that makes sence to you. When you need to regain the list just double click on the name of choice.reg file and it will be merged back into the registry. Your list will be as it was.
