No pictures

I'm back again.

Please refresh my memory-I am not showing pictures with
Internet Explorer, only Red X's. What do I check?

 

J.Lee--If this is happening with all images, click IE Tools|Internet Options|Advanced tab, check the box "Show Pictures" under Multimedia, click Apply|OK.
If neither this nor PeteC's suggestion work, then the causes could be many. So here are some articles with possible solutions

I am sure one or more of these will suggest you turn off any firewall and Popup/Ad Blocker.

 

Thanks for your help about the red x's. I have since upgraded
and now have Windows XP. I hope everything goes well with
it. I hear pros and cons. I really had no major trouble with 98,
but it time for a change.
