    Hello everyone!

    I have a question regarding the options when using media sources or a USB port. {My son had a badly infected/messed up computer a while back (Feb. 2008) in which I am eternally grateful to noahdfear in helping me with getting it up and running again!}

    During the process of fixing the computer, it was mentioned that some of the components might not be operating as they had previously before the fix. (Something to do with auto-run I believe?)

    This was taken from part of the thread when we were fixing the computer:

    While I realize it's has been suggested to leave the auto-run feature off (for security reasons) can it be reactivated and if so, how would I go about doing that?

    I'm not sure I would be able to explain to my son on how to access the source drives in order to use them....he's been so used to having the options pop up for him to access. I have them enabled on my computer, so he comes here occasionally to use mine.

    Other than this minor "inconvenience" for him, the computer seems to be running smoothly! (Thanks again noahdfear!!)

    Will this be something relatively easy to change?

    ~Vicki~

    The simplest way is to use TweakUI - My Computer > Autoplay and expand the listing by clicking on the + sign > Types
