I have been dual booting with 98se on my Master drive and 2000 as the secondary drive. I now want to take 98 off and change the 2000 drive to the master. I understand how to do this and realise I have to find the 2000 boot file which is currently on the 98 drive, this is where I'm struggling. I need an idiots guide to finding the 2000 boot.ini file and moving it to the other drive. Let me know if that is enough info or have I made it as clear as mud.

Not so simple, unfortunately. w2k does not tolerate having its drive letter changed from what it was at the time w2k was installed. Changing your w2k installation to C:, from D: or whatever, would cause it to stall at the point of user logon.
