After all that practice on Win2000Pro, I just bought a new machine with XPpro. Where is the little taskbar icon that gives me an instant "SHOW DESKTOP "? Previous versions of Windows always came with that and I got quite used to it. Any ideas? Thanx. GG.

Enable QL by right clicking in the taskbar and selecting "toolbars" then QL. The icon you are seeking is the only one there, by default. You can drag any desktop shortcut to your QL bar IF you "unlock" it.
