    Hi again Ramona,

I am using NS7 and XP. When I start my machine in the morning and I click on the NS ikon I get the message "netscape.com could not be found ". When I click on IE the dial up connection window comes up. It will also come up with kazaa and others. What am I doing wrong?

    Thank You.......Devere Sturm

    Hi Devere,

You are not alone in experiencing this problem. The information below may, or may not help:

    XP auto dial entries...

    Network Connections/Advanced/Dial-Up Preferences/Enable Auto-Dial by
Location/Uncheck all locations and check off always ask me before auto
    dialing.

To view the list of names and addresses recorded by AutoDial, type the following command at a command prompt: rasautou -s

To delete a name or address entry from the list: Start/Run/Regedit

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\RAS Autodial\Addresses

You can delete any TCP/IP addresses that you see under this key. Note that
AutoDial can use IP addresses, DNS fully qualified domain names (FQDN), and NetBIOS names.

How to Use the Rasdiag.exe Support Tool in Windows XP

    Modem and Auto-Dialing/Auto-Disconnect

Perfect? When she clearly has little of no understanding of the relationship between commas and non-restrictive elements?

Perhaps you were thinking " little to no? "

The Queen's hanging her head at this very moment! :(

That was intentional. I was (as an act of kindness) presenting her with an opportunity to strike back. I wouldn't want the auld gal to feel too dejected at having been caught out :D

    Sure it was! :p
What's with the "auld gal" business, anyway? This is what happens when nicotine addicts are deprived of their fix for a long period of time. They become vindictive, and their vile, dark, personality becomes all too apparent. Ah, the Queen must be sad indeed...

Old Boy Chiefly British - n 1: a familiar term of address for a man [syn: old man] 2: a vivacious elderly man

It's the female equivalent of either 1. or 2. Take your pick :D

But, Ramona, Daizy is still a smoker!

    Devere,

Please forgive Brett. He cannot help himself, and is lost to the civilized world.

Your problem will be addressed... ;)
