Ive accountered an annoyying problem. Everytime i open IE or Outlook.. an error msg saying 'No connection available....' but if click 'Try again' it continue normally.. It happens everytime so i have to click 'Try again' over and over again. Its like my PC didnt save the setting. When i open IE, my home didnt load fast as the status is saying 'Detecting proxy setting'. What could be the problem?

In your network connections, how many, and what types are enabled? Are they bridged?

What type of internet connection do you have?DSL? Cable? Dial-up?

    Any routers?

In your IE>tools>options>connections tab, what's set as your default conn? never dial?always dial? etc?

In the network connections there are 3 types of connection present on my pc.

    1. Incoming: Incoming Connection (I think this connection got something to do with my bluetooth dongle)
    2. Internet Gateway (I Think there's a wireless coverage around my area)
    3. LAN or High speed internet (This is my default connection, I am connected directly to my university LAN)

    no router

The selection in connection tab is unavailable (gray), i cant change anything.

    Thanx
