No bootable device/ new hdd

    I just got a new hard drive installed in my HP Presario DV 7 today. My old hard drive crashed and I used my backup disks to do the HP system recovery. It will let me run through my recovery discs and then at the end when the computer restarts it tells me no bootable device found. does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thank you so much for any help.
