For years I have used a blank page for my Firefox start up. Now with an upgrade to Firefox 10 I can no longer get a blank page. Instead I get the FF icon and a "Horray! Your Firefox is up to date." And regardless of what I try, even using WindowsBBS as a start up page, that particular Mozilla screen is there every time I start Firefox.

Does anyone have a solution for this annoyance?

When you updated, if I am not misteaken, it opened up 2 tabs. One the regular and the one you are talking about. Did you just try x'ing out of the second one. I am having no problems. Just changed mine for the heck of it and not problems.

Mr. Bill, ............. Nowhere on the FF screen do I have any indication of Tabs. When I first open FF, checking the block Recent Tabs shows "(empty) ". However, you could be right since I never use Tabs and did not pay enough attention to that word after the upgrade install. Unless you or others have further guidance I'll probably reinstall FF back to 9.X . Thank you for your support.

That is your choice. You will not be as secure as you would be with your current version.

MrBill, ............... I removed FF 10 and reinstalled FF 9.0.1 and that unwanted screen does not appear. Thank you again for your support.
