Backspace key does nor work,BUT rt.shift+backspace will work.
I've tried various key tweak apps but can't set the backspace key to it's default value.
The only way to backspace is to use rt.shift + backspace.
I know it's a registry error, but I can find no way of correcting it.
    Anyone...Ideas...help

Well, bad keyboard is the first thing that comes to mind. Have you tried another one or yours on another PC? Have you unplugged it and then plugged it back in then turn the PC back on?

    Hi B.,
Thanks for responding..Yes, I've tried several keyboards with
the same results that's why I'm certain it's in the reg. settings.
I don't know the exact date that this started, but I've tried my oldest restore point with no joy.
    Thanks,
    Ramjet

Is this in Win 10? Are you relying only on Win 10 to do your computer stuff with?

If you can get the service tag you can go to the dell support website enter that number and pull up either the User Guide or Service Manual. Dell Support
