Hi, I have a Dell Dimension 8400 series with Microsoft Windows XP.
The problem is that I'm trying to use Port #1 (or any one) and I'm receiving the message "No available Com Por" or "Connect your devise and turn it on ", even though I have done this before and that the devise is connected and on. I know that the problem is with the Ports, but I don't know how to fix it.
    Any help, please? :(

    Hi Oldman.

It may be that the com port(s) are turned off in the BIOS. You might check there and see if that is the problem.
