Hi All, ............... I'm in the process of setting up a new computer with Windows XP and Netscape 7.1. I have backed up my old 7.1 Profile folder to a CD and I'm trying to replace the Profile folder of the new NS 7.1. However I can't find the Application Data folder. This should be at:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profile\User\etc.

Although I see several references to the App. Data name I can't find it in Windows Explorer or with Search. What am I missing?

    Hi derfsch,

In Windows XP these files are hidden by default.
    To see hidden files:

    1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options
    2. Click the View tab
    3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders

Could it be that you just haven't done all of the above?

Could be!! And I feel like such a klutz. After installing NS and cleaning out the registry three times it only took a few kind words from you to get me on the right track. Thank you.
