    Hi everyone,
I am more than a beginner but less than an intermediate user although I have learned quite a bit about PC's over the last few years but tech savvie I am not.
I am hoping, being a member of BBS, will afford me the opportunity to get all my questions answered & I am looking forward to communicating w/ everyone.

At this time, I own a HP Pavilion dv6000 notebook w/ Windows Vista. It took me a while to get used to the Windows XP but it does seem like Vista is much more security minded than XP.

So if you are well adept w/ Vista, I could use any help you are willing to give me. Thank you so much for this opportunity & I look forward to chatting w/ you.

    Again thanx,
    JoyceL

    Hi PeteC,
I'm sorry, I'm still learning how to use this website correctly. I will remember to do that from now on.
I do have a question for you, if you don't mind. I would like to know how I would put my system specs shown in my profile because I have tried to do this w/ no success.
    Thanx for your input.
    Joyce

    Hi Joyce

I am assuming that all members whether subscribers or not have the facility to list their system specs, so ......

Click on User CP (above Important on this page) and then on Edit System Specs - when completed hit the Save Changes button.

Then go to Edit Options and scroll down to Thread Display Options - at the bottom of that box - System Specifications - select Yes from the drop down list.
