Unable to use NFL.com web site without receiving error messages that always cause me to power off the PC. Examples: An error has occurred in your program, close or ignore. clicked on close which resulted in a fatal exception OE has occured at 0167:BFF9dFF. Explorer caused a general fault in module GDI.EXE. Please advise as to what I may accomplish to remedy? Thanks for your time.

Have no problem with other web sites? NFL.com is a busy site extremely loaded with info from around the league.

    Happy New Year

    Lis,

I tried in both IE and Firefox. IE freezes on me but Firefox runs the site fine. Not sure what to suggest though.

It opens fine for me with IE6 and Opera. The only thing I can think of is your Java hasn't been updated.

Run Secunia Software Inspector and let us know what programs are not updated.

    Appreciate your reply.

Updated adobe flash and JAVA. As a result, Web cite (NFL.COM) performance has improved. However, lock-ups (freezes) are random. Possibly the issue is with the web cite? The web cite no longer has importance because the remainder of the NFL playoff games will be televised.

    Go Steelers

NFL.com is one of the slowest loading sites that I visit. I detest sites that are heavy on the use of Java and Flash.
