Newbie to WindowsBBS

Hello to all at Windows BBS.

I found this most interesting forum while searching for problems that have caused me to worry. At this moment, I am preparing for 3 finals over the next few days and I hope that this virus/whatever does not crash my computer.

I am studying to become a programmer/web site developer. I have completed some website and are currently managing others. I'm looking to become a pro at the JAVA programming language.

I have little to no knowledge as to know what to look for in viruses. Hope to clean out these bad-@$$ from my computer and to learn more about ways to keep them out of my computer.
