    When I open a new window inside of Netscape it's always way down in the lower right hand corner almost completely off the page. How do I fix this? I tried moving and resizing, neither worked. Using ver 7.1

    Maybe this Internet Explorer tip will work for you, even though the problem is with Netscape. This is from
    http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers2.htm#window_small
    =================copy/paste=================
    Internet Explorer Windows open 'off screen' or tiny or minimised to the taskbar. The window will not move if off-screen, and if resized by dragging or using the window buttons, does not keep the size set.

    This trick should work.

    Remove any 'Auto-hide' option for the taskbar and then maximise the problem window. While the window is maximised, increase the height of the taskbar from one row to two. Allow the maximised window to reset itself to fit into the new area allowed by the taller taskbar. Now return the taskbar to its normal single row. This is to try to make Windows re-calculate the window size and boundaries.
    =================end c/p==================

    Welcome to the Forum, bkushner!

    Hi bkushner,

    You might also delete the localstore.rdf file. This file is located in your *.slt folder. See the Profiles Location for your OS.

    Close Netscape before deleting the file.

    The "localstore.rdf" has added applications settings, added themes, theme settings, window positions of Navigator, Mail, URLbar history, and bookmark settings. It's possible the file is corrupt and what's causing your problem. Netscape rebuilds the file when reopened.
