One of the updates, KB935509, made available today apparently applies to Vista Enterprize and Vist Ultimate, both 32 and 64. I have Vista Home Premium, so why is it showing as an update for my system? Am I missing something that I should know? Have not downloaded it yet.

I also have Windows Vista Home Premium and I have the KB535509 available for download as well.

mopar, your link seems to confirm that it is indeed for Vista Enterprise and Ultimate. What is does is confusing. Would you recommend that Marv6 or I install this?

    I hate Updates!!!

Mopar, thanks for the link. Ann, I decided to hide this update until I can find out more about it, or until I find out that it may be necessary. Why would Microsoft make it available for download to Home Premium if it is intended for other versions of Vista?

I find it strange as well. I guess it would be helpful if others using Home Premium weigh in on this update. Thanks for your reply.

For the record, it wasn't offered or installed along with all the other updates for my Vista Business yesterday.

No :) - the update is a prequisite for SP1 to enable updating a feature of Vista only contained in Enterprise and Ultimate - Bitlocker Encryption.
