Just installed windows Vista 32 bit version.....installed it 3 times....and still get continual errors. "host process for windows services has stopped working ", and "Module Installer has stopped working ".

Already activated it 2 times, even though it was hard to do with all the errors. (afraid it won't let me reinstall anymore). The latter para is just a commentary.

What I really need to know is how to update Vista without all these errors. Because of these errors, I can't use the update feature. In fact if I just let the machine idle, the errors just keep coming. If I hit one keystroke, the OS goes crazy, with errors all over the place.

I installed this OS on the same system I am running XP pro. Vista is installed on a separate HDD. I even tried a different HDD (2 drives I tried in total for Vista), but same errors.

Check Event Viewer, type eventvwr.msc, in the Start Search box and click OK.

Check your Application and System logs (under Windows logs) for errors.

You can double click on any error for more details, and there is also a button to copy the error to your clipboard for easy copying & pasting.

Suggestion: make sure you have the latest drivers for your hardware installed.
