A new version of "Resize" has been released. It is now version 2.2, release 09/07/2004.
It is very similar to another resizing program I have mentioned called "JPEG Resizer "
It's nice to have another free program. I have used both and like both program... :D

Thanks for the link Kent. I d/l'd JPEG Resizer a while back and that is the handiest little program for resizing JPEG pic's going. Simple, fast and does a good job. Will try "Resizer" and see how it compares. :D

    Thanks for that link, Kent

I use the MS Powertoys ImageResizer - also does a good job, adding Resize to the right click menu on an image file.

    Hi John...

Yeah I really like JPEG Resizer. Quite the tool. :D

    Hi Pete...

Yes, I also use the Powertoys ImageResizer. Can hurt to have a few "resizer" tools in the toolbox... :D

Hi Kent, I tried out the "Resizer" but don't like it as much as JPEG Resizer. It's a little awkward to use and know where near as many options.

Pete C: Unfortunately I can't try MS PowerToys Resizer as it is for XP and my old box only has 98SE! :( Maybe there's an older version of it??

    Morning John...

Yes, I agree Resize does not have all the options that JPEG Resizer has but for quick resize job it works quite well. I think it's a keeper.

    John

I think you're out of luck - AFAIK ImageResizer appeared for the first time with Powertoys for Win XP.

Take a look at PIXResizer and give it a try. Freeware from BlueFive Software.

You can work with single or multiple images and choose between custom or preselected sizes. My 'resizer' of choice, fwiw. :)
