I recently discoverd a "local" and "network" users in my documents and settings folder. My guess is they are from old worm/virus/spyware attacks. I cannot delete them. Any ideas how to get rid of them? It may be related but I also get an error "cannot find dltime.dll" whenever svchost.exe tries to execute. A search of my hard drive indicates that neither of these files are present. Thanks for the help. -Bob

BBPanel - Welcome to the Board :)

Your analysis is basically correct - dltime.dll is the result of a Trojan.

Well, I got rid of svchost.exe in the registery but I still cannot delete the "extra" user accounts in documents and settings. I get an error saying that either index.dat or usrclass.dat is in use. I did manage to delete many of the files and folders but wherever these two files reside the folders will not delete. -Bob
