Hi I am new to XP and I am using the Professional XP and I have 4 users on my desktop. I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the time frame that make you reenter your password if you are idle for a short while. I find this annoying and I am sure there must be a place where you can change the allowed time before you have to reenter your password. It seems like about 5 min now.

Also how can I make my screen saver stay on continually when I am not on my computer it seemds to go to the black XP screen saver after a while. Also if another user is on the computer last will there screensaver prefrence be on or does it go to the admin users prefrence.? Thanks in advance Laurie

".. adjust the time frame that make you reenter your password if you are idle for a short while " - right-click on desktop, select properties~screen saver and uncheck the little box " On Resume, ..... "

"... make my screen saver stay on continually when I am not on my computer it seemds to go to the black XP screen saver after a while " Control Panel~Power Options and set "Turn Off Monitor" to never.

"if another user is on the computer last will there screensaver prefrence be on or does it go to the admin users prefrence.? " Last user's.
