    Hi again,

    I just bought new lap top with XP on it and I am a hard core win98 SE user I see many services running . Uggghhh what can I turn off and and what is absolutly needed in start up?

    Hi NEWT,

    Sorry for not replying much sooner but thanks for the link it was very helpfull in getting me to understand a little bit more about the running services and what is/what is NOT needed for my set up. I have been able to disable alot with that link and I might add succesfully too :cool: .
