New RefUpdate (v2.0) for Ad-Aware v5.8

You cannot use old Reflists with AA5.8, and cannot use the AA5.8 Reflist with old versions of AA. And you cannot use RefUpdate (version 1.3) to update Reflists if you have AA5.8. Reflists are now called Reffiles and a RefUpdate.exe (version 2.0) to handle them has been issued today. Get it at

Well I'll be darned. I just ran the 1.3 version of Updater and from all messages displayed you would think it was doing the job, but when looking further and checking the main program screen, it shows the ugly truth that it didn't work at all.

Thanks again for making me aware of that Jim, I'll go get the new Updater as well.

I think these people are going out of their way to confuse people. The price is right though.

OK, I got the new RefUpdate V.2 and I'm cookin' on all burners again!

Other than the confusion the company creates occasionally, this product has never caused me any problems and if it's doing any good I appreciate it, if not, I always did like chicken soup.
