    Hello everyone,

    I have built a new pc. Went from a P2/350 to a P4/3g. Yeah I know, what was I waiting for. :D

Anyway, I still have the old pc going until I solve this. Can I and/or How can I backup the Mozilla email accounts and email messages on the old pc... and port them over to the new pc which I want to run Thunderbird on.

    Thanks in advance.

Please get acquanited with the Netscape solutions . There are a few sublinks which will help you.
But, you will have to backup, on a CD, or something like it, your profile info.
The link tells you what and where. But I don't understand what the P2 and P4 has to do with your operating system, so it is up to you to figure it out. And, then yell for help, if you still don't get it.

You may, also, want to check the "Similar threads" just below the reply.

    Ramona and Westside

Thanks for the info. The Thunderbird FAQ looks promising.

    Westside...P2/350 = Pentium II / 350mHz, likewise P4/3g = Pentium 4 / 3.0 gHz

I was trying to use shorthand I was familiar with. Thanks for your input about my original request.

I understood about the type of processor, but it still does not say anything about the operating system. I am sure that the new system has WinXP, but what was the older one? That's why I gave you a more general link.
Anyway, good for you about building a PC. That's why you gave the processor parameters.
