Kish - Welcome to the Board :)

I have split your post to a new thread.

Outlook or Outlook Express? If you are running Outlook I will transfer your thread to the Outlook forum.

Basic procedure is to install your old hard drive as a slave drive on the replacement computer and import the messages using the Import function in Outlook or Outlook Express. This assumes that the drive is readable, of course.

    Hi Pete

    Thanks for the reply :)

I think its OE...im pretty sure it is. I've heard the HD is ok I already had some data transferred off of it onto a CD before they took it away, I just thought I could get straight back into my emails as soon as the new pc was set up..]
    :( dohhhhhh

I don't know anything about setting up a slave etc. I am at work at the moment and won't be able to have a look at my home pc until this evening, but any help you can give me will be much appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Kish:)

Let us know whether it is Outlook Express or Outlook - they are different, then we can help you out.

In the meantime, assuming that we are talking Outlook Express have a look on the CD you burnt for *.dbx files - these contain your emails - Inbox.dbx, Outbox.dbx, etc....
