Hello all ! I have been involved in the information technology field for 3 years now. I have an associate degree in computer information services and soon will be on my way to a bachelor's degree. I have been involved in projects of one sort or another my entire life. All this comes after 27 years a machinist. I enjoy attention to detail and tweaking things to within an inch of their lives. My primary system is a gateway 7210 server. I enjoy the hot swap scsi feature of this machine. It has two 900 mhz intel pii processors and 2gb or ram. I run windows 2000 advanced server. Several of my plans include a l.a.n. In my house, shop and garage, as well as terminals in my children's rooms. Within this system is to be a video surveillanc system for the property. I've bored you enough - i'm really glad to be a part of this forum, and hope to learn as much as possible, as well as contribute to the extent of my abilities.
