The latest update to the Mac OS X (Leopard) was released yesterday:

    http://www.apple.com/

I nipped into an Apple store today (the things us men have to do to when our wives are out clothes shopping!), and had a play. Very nice. I have just bought myself a new HP as the motherboard on my main home system died (don't see the point in building my own when I can get a new HP for less that 300 quid), but if I hadn't, I have to admit I'd be very tempted to get a Mac Mini.

Anyone else had a play with Leopard yet?

I've been using Tiger since it came out and have been very happy with it. Not really rushing out to get Leopard, since my philosophy is generally to "leave well enough alone ". Reviews on the Mac BBs are mixed.

My next venture in Apple land will probably be the MacBook Pro. It's spendy but they say it's the best PC on the market ... and runs both Windows and Mac OS.

Hey hey, there are a couple of sites that show you how to install leopard on a PC, legally hack certain files and install it.
