I have had a new MSI laptop CR720 windows 7 home addition for a couple of days and everything was working well, until I started the laptop up and couldn't get internet or network.I had a look in Device Manager to find a yellow exclamation mark over the mini port wifi adaptor. Tried to let Windows 7 find driver but it didn't work, is there a driver on the web for this or I will have to keep it disabled. Thank you

Hi, I'd take it back to the Retailer and get them to ensure it works properly or replace it.
Does it come with a set of instructions which might cover your problem?
If you can't get on the internet - Windows won't be able find the drivers. Neil.

One point before you take it back...

Is there any chance you or others have inadvertently turned off the wireless adapter. On my system Fn+F8 would do it on others it could be a push button or slide switch. Check your user guide just to make sure.

Thanks for the speedy reply, though I was wondering what/or where can you get the driver for the mini port wifi adaptor? I know it is only a driver but I work of two access points.

    Thanks

    Page 2-10 of your manual.

FN + F8 toggles Wifi on and off
FN + F9 toggles Bluetooth on and off.

Here is a link where you can get MSi specific help. It is not, however, run by MSi. It is users like you and I: Link to MSi User Forum

Scroll down to the MSi Notebook section. And by all means get a copy of your User Manual.

Here is another link to an MSi web site where the manual, drivers, BOIS updates, etc are available for download: MSi CR720 Support Site Link
