 I installed a new hard Drive in my Laptop (windows vista) which has 320 gigs (Seagate)and it's only showing around 24gigs. I looked in the Bios, but couldn't even see it there? Can someone help me?

Need more information. What was it formated in? FAT or NTFS. Is this the only HD in the PC or an additional one?

I found an answer on the web.

Thank-you for your reply, as I went on the web and tried what was posted, and I fixed it. I have one hard drive. I went to control panel- searched partition, and- disk management-C-properties and extended the volume, and it moved over the rest of the gigs. couldn't believe it worked.

    :)
