    If you d/l and use this application be sure you read the notes and take into account the "side effects" for each of the functions that can be "disabled" or you may find parts of your Windows and e-mail do not work. You can always go back into BugOff and "enable" again if you find something not working as it should. :)

    Nice to see Merijn back...

    There is another tool bring mentioned along with BugOff called Qwik-Fix by Pivx that is supposed to do the same. I went over to their site but it seems to be down right now. Anybody using either one?

    Is it known if these exploits are address (and vulnerabilities successfully closed) in next months Service Pack 2 release?

    There is no software that can be created to protect against all and every internet malware, because each new variant must be identified and catalogued, first, before removal or protection is possible. The most valuable tool at our disposal for the prevention of malware is good old common sense. Without it, even the most cleverly written software is useless!
