Networking Problem: "network path not found" from 1 computer

    Hi,

    for some reason out of the blue one computer on my network cant be seen or access another computer

    if i try an access one computer from a mappd drive that i have i get the "network path not found" error message an i can see the computer on in the net nauibhurhood but access is denied????? its been working ok for about a yr then all of a sudden it does not work???? i tired a few things like making sure all connections were visable

    also if i from command line run nbtstat -n i get this error "failed to access NetBT Driver" i checked the registry entry an the value "Start" is set to 1??

    if anyone would be able to help i'd me must gratefull

    Unfortunately there can be many causes for this, including failure of the network adapter hardware.

    First, do an IP stack reset.
    Start, Run, netsh ip reset reset.log
    Reboot and test.

    If no joy:

    If using Windows XP Service Pack 2:

    Start, Run, CMD

    netsh winsock reset
    Wait for a prompt that a restart is needed. Restart your computer.

    If you are not using Windows XP Service Pack 2:

    Download and run WinsockFix. Reboot.

    I Did resolve the issue before i saw this post, there was a problem with the target computer, but thank you very much for your advice an prompt replys you have helped ever so much thank you
