Networking Printer Trouble!

    Hi,
    I recently got XP and i am having some trouble networking a printer to XP. I tried to install the computer but upon installation an error message saying this driver is not compatiable with windows 2000 popped up! I tried downloading the driver from HP's web site this didnt help at all. Can som one help me?
    I have a hp deskjet 648c on a hp computer running ME. I'am trying to network it to a EMachines computer running XP. I have a Linksys Instant Broadband EtherFast Cable/DSL Router
    Built-In 10/100 4-Port Switch!

    and I'am using belkin networking cables
    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Is there any way you could hook the printer to the XP system and share if from there?
