I have a Desktop running XP Pro with SP2.
I also have a laptop running Windows Vista Ultimate (which I have just installed).

I need help networking both of these computers completely. When I was running XP on my laptop, these two computers were networked fine but now that I have installed Vista on my laptop, I need to go through some settings again.

I have a wireless router which I use for Internet connections and at the moment, both computers are connecting to the Internet just fine using the wireless router.

I need to be able to share files, printer etc... between the two computers. I need to be able to give the Desktop enough rights to be able to browse my laptop through "My Network Computers ".

Currently, if I go to "My Network Computers" on my desktop and click on the laptop computer icon, it says that its not accessible due to not enough rights.

I have a wireless connection via the router but I would also like to transfer files through my wired connection as its faster. I need help setting this up too. (It just remains as "identifying ").

Since I'm not too familiar with Windows Vista, I need help with total networking between my desktop and laptop.

Everything in NaSC is turned on.

    Appreciate the help,

    JH
