ok its been fine for like 2 years. but in december it quit working. i tried to fix it today but cant. i quit sharing on both computers. i click on the c drive, right click share and allow users to change files, then enter the name Downstairs comp. i went upstairs it worked fine i could get into my downstairs computer perfectly. i did the same for my upstairs computer and named it upstairs comp. but on my other computer it says..

You might not have permission to use this network resource. contact the administrator contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have acess permissions

Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

both computers are the administrator accounts. i read in a post below about Service Pack 2 and how it could change the Windows firewall by default. for some reason my dad installed it like 2 weeks ago. is that the problem? do you know how to fix it please help.

The problem is on the machine you are attempting to connect to. It's not on the machine you see the error message. On the computer you are connecting, check the Event Viewer for an Event ID 2011. If so, you need to fix the IRPStackSize that is indicated in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article. Norton Antivirus can cause this to happen.

Antivirus Software May Cause Event ID 2011
