I searched but found no answer. I have a Crossover Cable network for two PCs. My Question: Do programs in Host PC protect the Client, such as AntiVirus and Firewall. It seems they do but I can't be sure. I've tested with Gibson and both PC are Stealth all the way although Client has no Firewall installed and XP Firewall is turned off.

So it seems I'm on the right trail. If I wrong will someone please set me straight?

I assume you mean you are using ICS in this setup. If that is the case, then the "downstream" computer is protected by the NAT of the host PC. However, NAT does nothing to protect the downstream PC from viruses.

Thank you for that information. I do use ICS and I just read a little about NAT. Didn't really understand what that was but the reading help. Need to read more on this.

The Client does have a Anti Virus Program separate from Host. So, I should keep that going.

    Again, Thanks for the info.
