If Printers and Scanners are considered hardware then I am in the right place. If not this can be moved.

What I am looking for is a NETWORK Scanner. NOT USB

I have a Printer that plugs directly into the Router and has proven to be one the better ideas I have had.

I have looked around at Scanners but all I have found so far are USB connected. I already have one of them so I do not need another.

Thanks for the reply but that is not what I am looking for.

I am looking for a Flatbed scanner that plugs into the Router/Switch via a Cat5 cable just like my printer does.

That way ALL MACHINES can use it without mine being on.

Yep !!. I am finding that also. My idea may be fine but the cost may prohibit my using it.

Use vs cost can't be justified. ( not at this time anyway )

I do thank you for trying.
