I've set up a home network for my 4 computers (laptop, wife, son and mine). All the computers are running XP Pro, some SP2 and some SP3.All computers are in the same workgroup. When accessing Network places ,all are visible except mine. All computers have file and printer sharing enabled. All except mine allow access to the files. When I attempt to access mine from one of the others, a warning comes up saying" mine is not accessible. You might not have permission ......Contact administrator of this server... if you have access permissions. The network path was not found" When clicking on workgroup computers, all computers are noted, however, access to mine is denied when attempted from one of the others. I would like to have access to all computers from anywhere in the network. Please help. Thanks.

Problem solved. I am running CA Internet security suite. I tried pinging the computer that was inaccessible, and the result was 'timed out'. I was told that this was most likely a firewall issue. I temporarily disabled the firewall setting in CA and now everything between all computers is available. I enabled the firewall setting to allow local network access and everything is fine.
