I was trying out the Ubuntu install along side with Windows 7. When it was all done I go back on Windows and it said my net wasnt connecting but it was saying my cord was bad. I thought it was because I installed Ubuntu and uninstalled it right away. That didnt change after I did that and is still saying the same thing. I did use a different cable that i knew worked and said the same thing one time but after that said it was my router. Then after repairing the router it said samething again. Is it my motherboards internal card broken or is it a software issue.

Most probably a driver problem. Go to Device Manager & uninstall Ethernet Card. Reboot & let Windows reinstall the driver.
