we might need more info on this post...

are you talking about the IP address, such as 4.10.164.68 or do you mean the adapter address like 00-4B-55-E0-04-F3...

if you mean the adapter address, then you cant change this. this is like your street address where you live. its unique to the card and this card is the only one that has that address. its unchangeable...

now if your talking about IP address, it will depend on the operating system that you are using...

for Win 95, 98FE, 98SE and ME: start>>run>>winipcfg and then in IP configuration window that opens the 1st entry will have a drop down arrow and you select the NIC adapter that is integrated on the motherboard...once that is selected then you can do a release/renew or release all/renew all and this will get you a IP address, as long as there is no other problems...

for W2K and WinXP: start>>>run>>ipconfig/all and this will bring up a DOS window and you can then find the IP address and here in the DOS window you type in ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew and this should get you an IP address...

otherwise i really need to know what you mean by "pisical address of this network card," and for future reference, when you post a problem, try include the operating system, it does help and can make a difference...i hope this helps....

    neomatsu... ;)
