ok here is the problem...i have an xp home edition pc and an ME pc who are and have been successfully connected to a dsl modem. and have been used to share interent connection and files already. but one day i was surfing the net and then when i tried a link everything went down for sites like page errors etc. as for network connection, the whole connection on my ME pc side went down as i couldnt go anywhere or connect to anything although the connection was open on the ME but i couldnt access anything. i try the xp and everything works fine except i cant find the ME pc on my network, and my ME cant find my xp network, so like the whole network was gone for some reason. so now i can only connect to the net through xp, but me just doesnt detect any netwok or internet connections.

    any one can help plz??

Sounds like either the ME network card or cable went sour. Try
ping 127.0.0.1 and if that works OK, most likely a network cable or, if ICS and XP is host, the LAN side NIC on XP.

Are you using ICS? A router?

Would you post your fix on here. Might help someone else with the same problem if they search up this thread.
