Netscape print prob

My Lexmark x6100 series printer prints fine offline.
When trying to print something online, a webpage or whatever, the graphics come out fine but the text is all [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] 's.
help, oh please someone help.

Can you print a webpage when using IE?

i don't use IE (NOBODY should) but i'll give it a shot and get back to you.
any suggestions in the meanwhile?

Print problems here too!!!

Running win98se, netscape 7.2 and Firefox browers, HPv-40 all in one printer.
Emails are printing out square O's also in Netscape. I can save to documents, then print ok.
Have removed and installed print software, no help. Have changed setting in netscape, removed print icon, put it back, etc.
Now this problem has traveled to My Quickbooks program. Square O's.
I can send to excel, save, then open and print ok.

I checked the HP site for some Technical Support, but was unable to find your Printer? Is that the correct Product ID, HPv-40?

Can you print using IE?

Printing Squashed 00000's

I just started having the same printing problem. Squashed 00000000's. Last week was fine, this week not so good. Using HP 970cxi. Help, Help.

Ensure that you have the most current driver for your printer.

Thanks for the response. What would cause this to occur (over the weekend) when no changes or updates were made to any of the affected programs? I have installed the latest driver and re-installed Netscape, the problem still exists. I have less than 600 fonts. Next suggestion?

I have no idea as to what would make the problem suddenly appear. Printer problems are rarely associated with the Netscape program, but with the printer itself. Have you checked with HP, and their KB to see what, if anything, they say about such problems?

EDIT: The drivers are for Window 98...

Thanks for your help. I have tried everything you are suggesting and it still has not fixed the problem. The printing problem is only with Netscape email program. My next step is to totally uninstall netscape and the print drivers and reinstall. Not my favorite thing to do.
