    I communicate with a Netscape user and my message to her is always included in her reply to me. We tried to change this by finding internet options on her taskbar, but failed to see anything that would apply. Can you assist?

    This is where your friend can disable the quote:

    Edit|Preferences|Mail & Newsgroups|Messages

    Remove the tick beside:
    "Automatically quote original message when replying ".
