Netscape Mail & Address Book Problems

Just upgraded from Windows 98 (2nd Edition) to XP Pro - Also had to install new main drive but also left old main drive installed as well - I installed Netscape 7.1 onto new drive, which is what I had on old drive & it of course didn't transfer my previous Bookmarks, Mail or Address Book- I was able to import Bookmarks from old drive but have not been able to import Mail or Address Book - 1) Mail - When I go to Import window of Tools bar, it shows Communicator 4.x & Outlook, etc. - When I click on Communicator 4.x it opens up blank Communicator 4.x window & no search/select window 2) Address Book - I can open up select/search window from Import window but I don't know how to import for Address Book & also Mail list(if I'm able to open) - This is very important business data & I would really appreciate some help!!

Unfortunately there is no import for Netscape 7 to Netscape 7. To move your Address Book, copy the abook.mab file from the old drive to the new:

Close Netscape
On the old drive navigate to this folder:
C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\*.slt
Copy the abook.mab file in the *.slt folder, replacing the existing file

On the new drive navigate to this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\*.slt
Paste the abook.mab file in the *.slt folder, replacing the existing file

NOTE: These files are hidden by default.
To see hidden files:
1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options
2. Click the View tab
3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders
4. Disable "Hide File Extensions for Known Files. "
5. Click OK.

To search for files in the Application Data folder, go to Start | Search.
Under More Advanced Options select Search system folders, Search
Hidden Files and folders, and Search subfolders.
