    Reply headers like what, for instance?
    I can quote even too much when I hit reply, putting in all the address of others if the e-mail had been sent to others. I don't have NS7.2, but it should be no different than Seamonkey, which I have. What is checked in Edit|Mail and Newsgroups|Composition? However, I don't think that it is the problem. May be I can't understand you, and I don't use Outlook Express.

    Welcome to the Forum, millbear!

    millbear,

    You can customize your Reply Header, by adding the below scripts to the prefs.js file, which is located here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles
    Header Type:
    0 = No Reply-Text
    1 = <Author> wrote: - Netscape 3.xx/4.xx style
    2 = On <date> <author> wrote:
    3 = user-defined, not yet axctivated.

    The above scripts will create this Reply:

    On this day, 5/7/2008 11:09 PM, the esteemed John Doe replied, with the utmost intelligence

    One word of caution, ensure that you make a backup copy of the prefs.js file before editing.
