netscape mail 7.2 mail not shown

My ME machine had Netscape 7.2 and about 15M of emails in two accounts. I transferred the account directories to a CD and then reformated , replaced ME and 7.2. Copied the two directories to C:\ and created two email accounts. Then entered the preferences area to change the directory (from windows\profiles\kjasdfklj) to my new directories and accounts. In the previous version, this was no problem. But now I see no emails. If I attempt to import the only option is netscape 4.X and the required profile names.

Any suggestions?

In Me the default location is: C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\xxxxx.slt. The xxxxx is a combination of letters and numbers. Where is kjasdfklj coming into the picture?

But you could have your mail folder almost anywhere, and direct your Local Directory to that location.
Once, I had ended up in My Documents, for totally unknown reasons, and I could read my mail.
