Netscape Mail - 7.1 - Reporting back

I started a thread in Oct with the name 'Netscape Mail - 7.1'

Was on the verge of a hard disk loss etc. - and wanted to switch to Thunderbird, etc. and even had mailboxes with a gazillion MB's to recover. Ramona came back with solutions and directions - some weeks later we were able to make the transformation - and can report that it succeeded completely - all mails recovered - Thunderbird working - and even converted to Firefox - as well as getting the person helping me to also switch to FF.

Of course - still finding some quirky kookie stuff with FF and TB - and will come back with some comments, questions and cannonballs.

But - mainly - thanks for all the help!!!

I hope you broke down those folders. Any folder with over 100 messages is at risk, and paring down is so much more manageable.
