We will need some details. Internet Explorer, like Firefox are browser only. Do you mean that neither one works with the Yahoo website? Otherwise, you will need a Mail program. Is your mail with yahoo.com? Which netscape, which operating system do you have (like Windows something).
    Which program is your default?

I get only part of the story.
Netscape9 was your default, and, then something happened, and nothing works right? It seems that you are not connecting to the internet with either Netscape9 nor Firefox. It seems that Internet Explorer works, except for not letting you at yahoo.com, or just its mail? I have never heard of this, since you are not trying to access a mail program. It does not seem that you have any fancy set up. What are your settings at Tools|Options|Advanced|Network|Connection button. You should have a "Direct Connection to the Internet "

    Welcome to the Forum, granitegabe1!

    granitegabe1,

Do you want to use Internet Explorer, or do you want to use Firefox or Netscape? I ask because if Internet Explorer is your browser of choice, then I will move this thread to the Internet Explorer Forum.

    thanx guys

Ramona, at this point I dont care what browser I use as long as one works fully, but I already posted it on the explorer forum, too I was hoping some one could help with this part of my problem,

thats right Westside I dont have any fancy settings just a basic set up, I have Verizon wireless broadband ( I called there help line and through hours of troubleshooting they delivered no results) and really I use my computer mainly for checking email I have very little computer skills so there for I dont daddle around much at all for fear of messing something upI will do informational searches ie. mapquest or looking for photos to use as tatoo patterns up I'm never on for a long time and dont play any computer games or enter chat rooms I've ran several virus and antispyware scans but everything is clean. Fist explorer stopped letting me into my mail, then firefox would freeze up on me, then netscape9 would'nt load at all and after checking firefox (since the netscape9 problem) it would'nt load either
    :(

    granitegabe1,

I wonder if you have tried simple maintenance for the browsers:

    Internet Explorer:

    Clear cookies
In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
On the General tab, under Browsing history, click Delete.
    Click Delete cookies.
When you are prompted to confirm that you want to delete cookies, click Yes.
Click Close, and then click OK.

    Clear Cache
In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
On the General tab, under Browsing history, click Delete.
Click Delete files, and then click Yes.
Click Close, and then click OK.

    Firefox:
    Tools | Options | Privacy | Cookies
    Select: Exceptions Tab
Type the link for Yahoo Mail
    Select: Allow Site

Tools | Options | Privacy | Private Data
Select: Always clear my private data when I close Firefox
    Select: Settings Tab
    Ensure that Cache is enabled
I also suggest enabling Browsing History and Download History
    Now select: Clear Now Tab

Try accessing Yahoo from this link: http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/
Click on "Mail" on the left side of the page.

Let us know if this helps.
