On occasion I have an email that when a user replies back it overlaps ontop of my orginal message.

This happens once in a while. Not all of my emails are affected.

Need help in finding out how to fix this. Is there a setting to change.

    THanks.

    Hi w.young

    Will need some background.......
What version of Netscape are you using?
Has problem occured on previous version(s)?
Has it ever repeated the occurance from the same replier(s)?
Do you originate an email from "computer A ", receive and open the reply from "computer B" when this occurs?

Sorry I do not have N4.77 on this computer to do any testing. Have N4.76 on my older computer along with N7 preview... But had changed ISP's and never rebuildt N4.76 email, since it was no longer my primary browser. Did do some testing with N7.0 final on my new system......
    Sent out an original email.
Replied to email, putting information in the normal default area. Sent out.
Replied again to email, putting information in the normal default area....AND ALSO...put new information in BOTH previous sent / received BODY AREA's of the email. Sent it out... and it allowed it!!!

Now I don't know if this is what you are seeing / occuring in your email view's. Possible the replier is typing in the wrong area's or possible copy/paste some of your previous info back into these wrong area's. AGAIN I'm not sure if N4x's allow this... but I just found out with N7's I sure could CREATE a very confusing "time line of information" by it allowing me to input NEW information in PREVIOUS sent/replied text body area of the replied email.
    UPDATE 2:20pm_________________________
I did this test "FROM myself.. TO myself. To "properly do this test I should re-do to a different email address. Which if you like, I could do when my wife gets home.
